We buy and sell big cardamom and other different kinds medicinal herbs like chiraaita, Jatamasi, yarsagumba. Bojho,Timur, Tejpat.

We sell hard ware goods of all kinds for building construction. We sell cement, tin, iron, pipe etc in a reasonable price. We sell materials of the daily use in retail price. We sell food grains, cooking oil etc.

4.Our irom industry
We have iron industry where we have iron welding , and grill service. The four people have been employed in the industry.

It is said that 87 kinds herbs are found in eastern Himalaya region of Sankhuwasabha the district. They are used in the local area as medicine and some are also exported to foreign countries.

Some of the most valuablle herbs are given below.

Yarchagumba

Name of the Plant: Yarsagumba
English Name: Hypocreaceae

Place to be found: A place where there is snow for 6 month and snow melts for six month
The VDC to find Yarcha: Matsya Pokharei, Chichila, Jaljala, Mt Makalu Himalaya Area, Makalu Barun National Park and buffe Zone Area

Altitude to be found: 2000-4500 meters.

Panch Aule
Name of the Plant: Panch aunle.
English Name: Dactylorhyza hatagirea.
Specialty: A small plant having its root like five fingers.
Altitude to be found: 2400 -3600 meters.

Usually our day on Tea house trek starts around 7:00 am, you can order the breakfast in your guest house, after light breakfast bread, omlet, poltato chips, doughnut boiled egg, tea or coffee depending on your choice. After breakfast, we set off on the day’s walk. After walking for 3-4 hours we stop for lunch at around midday. The afternoon’s walk is generally shorter and we usually arrive at our destination in time for afternoon tea. Yarsagumba

Yarsagumba is a lower plant and belongs to fungi group .It is found in the meadows of Himalaya ranges. It seems like caterpillar in winter and appears as plant during rainy seasons. It does not have stem, leaf, flowers and fruits like other plants. It gives energy when eaten mixing with milk and honey. As it has high economical value , people collect it and sell to earn money. People should be made known about the method of cultivation which helps in raising their economic status and preserving yarsagumba.

1.Introduction
We are much pleased to inform you all that we have one of the biggest trading centre where we buy and sell a large quantity of big cardamom every year. Sankhuwasabha is one of the biggest distinct to grow a good quality of cardamom. We have been selling and buying 400000 kg. Cardamom every year. Most of the cardamom of this area is collected at our centre every year.
2.What is Cardamom
Cardamom is a kind of spices. It has been using for as spices and it is mixed in the spices. It has been used to make homeopathic m medicines. The medicine are used to make medicines which are used to for TB.
The cardamom is also used to make cake, biscuits, coffees, Pulau, and meat.Cardamon consists of 42% carbohydrate 105 protein, 115 minerals,5.5% Volatile oil.

3. Farming of the cardamom.
Sankhuwasabha is one of the biggest districts to grow cardamom. It is grown from 800 – 2000 meters.
The district grows 1248 metric ton in 2337 hector of land. Khandbari is the main collection centre of the Cardamom in sankhuwasabha. The cardamom is exported to Siligudi of IndiamPakisthn and UAE.
Thw cardamom plant not only preserves the green bus also saves from soil erosion.

4.Harvesting of Cardamom

Cadamom is harvested in the summer season and then it is dried asshown in the picture.

5.Drying of Cardamom

Cardamon is dried in the hilly areas as shoen in the pitcture by following traditional methods.

6.Transportation of Cardamom

Cardamomin is transported by mule in the hilly areas of the district.
